Ronai is an instrumental, eclectic, and strongly guitar-driven band formed in 2024. The group takes its name from guitarist Rónai Zsolt, who is also the band’s main composer and soloist. Ronai’s music clearly draws from the unmistakable stylistic traits of its predecessors, while consciously striving to explore new directions: modernizing vintage sounds is a defining element of their musical identity.

The band quickly gained professional recognition: in 2025, they won the Pincejárat Tehetségkutató, where they also received a special prize from the jury. In the same year, they were invited to perform at the Magyar Zene Háza in September.

In 2026, they further strengthened their presence in the Hungarian live music scene, performing at the Budapest Jazz Club and the Szekszárdi Jazz Club. The band has also begun expanding internationally, with a performance scheduled in Vienna, and an invitation to the Művészetek Völgye by the Magyar Jazz Szövetség.

Ronai is currently working on their second album, which further deepens and refines the band’s distinctive, guitar-centered sound. Their music continues to evolve, balancing tradition and innovation as they shape an increasingly unique sonic identity.
